There’s no getting away from the fact that recent events have changed the way we live and do business.
We’re all feeling a wide range of emotions, and may be worried about business, family and the financial future. Without knowing immediately what to do next, it can be easy to allow worry and stress to take hold. However, in this time of crisis, the immediate focus is how to survive and then, how to thrive.
One of the greatest challenges at a stressful time is managing ourselves. Be sensible, practical and, above all, calm when managing risk and, where appropriate, engage an expert who can help you. If you are worried, it's a good idea to talk with a financial adviser.
In the next couple of days my clients will receive a small, unexpected handmade chocolate gift and Easter greeting card arranged with the help of small business suppliers within our region. Buying local and supporting local businesses has always been a core value of our business and this has became even more important during Coronavirus times. We discovered the lovely father-daughter family business, Choc on choc [choconchoc.co.uk], based in Bath, Somerset who have patented the idea of layering chocolate on top of chocolate, creating beautiful and unique designs.
We think we have found the perfect, fun client gift during Coronavirus lock down – a chocolate toilet roll! It is aiming to bring a smile, but also to remind clients that they are valued.
As we send our Easter Greetings to our clients, we hope they like our light-hearted gift, but on a more serious note, please rest assured that we take financial advice seriously and are always on hand to help at every step of the way. If you’d like any further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out - it is good to talk.
